The 2009 MNM Festival programme is finally online

A grand unveiling of the 2009 MNM Festival programme took place last Wednesday, at a press conference attended by some 100 individuals, festival partners, artists, and media personnel. To the amazement of Walter Boudreau (artistic director of the SMCQ and MNM), the event was transformed into a giant surprise party for him, celebrating his 20th year at the head of the SMCQ. Photos are available on our Facebook page.

Composing in the Present!

The SMCQ has been moving in step with the lively rhythms of new music for almost fifty years. With its regular concert season, its Série hommage (Homage Series), an international festival, and a young listener’s programme, the society has served both as a platform for today’s composers and as a window on creative works for everyone.
