Unity or independence? In the past decades, the Relationship of music and dance has
evolved dramatically. How do thèse affinities and collaborations colour both disciplines?
How effective and productive is the communication between scholars of music and dance? This
conference gathering participants from France, The Netherlands, England, the USA, and
Canada will attempt to address the issues brought forth by experts and practicians on the
difficult art of communicating across these two disciplines.
