A memorable performance of music and dance, La Vie qui bat is an opportunity to hear Steve Reich’s famous work Drumming performed live and choreographed by Ginette Laurin. After appearances in Tokyo and Marseille, this performance — critically and publicly acclaimed upon its premiere 12 years ago — is being reprised in its original version with its initiator Walter Boudreau. The conductor teams up once again — for the first time since 1999 — with dance troupe O Vertigo to provide Montrealers with a second opportunity to witness this grand event. 13 musicians and 10 dancers on stage. Don’t miss this return!
