Éveline Grégoire-Rousseau began to study piano before the age of 6, then turned to the harp at the age of 12. She has recently received a certificate from the Manhattan School of Music, where she had a full scholarship to study with the harpist of the Metropolitan Opera, Deborah Hoffman. She also holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from McGill University, where she studied with Jennifer Swartz, who is renowned worldwide. Ms. Rousseau has participated in many classes abroad, in particular in Colorado at the Aspen Music Festival and School. For many years, she has contributed to the flowering of orchestral music in Quebec by playing regularly with the orchestras of the province, the Orchestre Métropolitain du Grand Montréal, the Orchestre symphonique de Québec and the Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal Orchestra.
