Born in Montreal in 1983, Francis St-Arnaud obtained his bachelor’s degree in instrumental composition with Alain Lalonde at the University of Montreal. He is on is way to completing his masters degree with Anna Sokolovic at this same university. His repertory includes several works for chamber orchestra, symphony orchestra, string quartet, flute and piano and a work for percussion and piano. In 2007 Francis was invited to Czech Republic to take part in a workshop where he conducted one of his pieces for chamber orchestra.
