Works by Bosse, García Islas, Hamel and Lalonde.
Pre-concert event, 8:00 pm, free admission
And there was light! Three composers draw us into a concert of chamber music where each illustrates the essence of their musical language. An invitation to journey through spacial realms— courtesy of the sounds of André Hamel—and temporal realms via tones which transport us from modern-day Belgium to pre-hispanic Mexico. Accompanied by Marie-Annick Béliveau’s sublime voice, as well as Denis Bosse on the accordion, Ensemble Allogène lights up the stage with its intensity.
