Other guests include clarinetist/improvisor/composer François Houle, pianist Pamela Reimer, percussionist Rick Sacks, and composers Linda C Smith, Michael Oesterle and Cléo Palacio-Quintin. Recipient of the 2007 Siemens Förderpreis and the Opus award for visibility abroad, over the past decade the Bozzini quartet has carried its passion for music ranging from traditional recital repertoire to break-out events around the world.
The SMCQ has been moving in step with the lively rhythms of new music for over forty-five years. With its regular concert season, its Série hommage (Homage Series), an international festival, and a young listener’s programme, the society has served both as a platform for today’s composers and as a window on creative works for everyone.
