Take part in the biggest celebration of one of our composers ever! In April 2012, all schools will be invited to take part in “Sokolović Week” as part of the All Ears / All Play project.

How?

By listening to a work by Ana Sokolović in class, playing creative games she has put together especially for the occasion, or even playing her new work for school band and choir (A commission of the Quebec Canadian Music Centre — Score available upon request).

During the last Homage Series, nearly 15,000 young people took part in the All ears / All play project. Join this unparalleled movement recognizing the great accomplishments of our composers! Upon registering their classes, teachers will receive (free of charge):

• An Ana Sokolović cartoon for each of their students which includes a creative activity booklet;
• A DVD to show in class with 4 video clips on Ana Sokolović, as well as a complete recording of one of her works.

In Montreal, students and teachers from 26 classes will participate in a very particular way to this project by sitting in on a rehearsal for a major SMCQ concert devoted to Ana Sokolović.
