Le compositeur Nicolas Gilbert, membre du comité artistique de la SMCQ, fait paraître son premier roman, intitulé Le récital, aux éditions Leméac. Décrit dans le communiqué de l’éditeur comme «une œuvre pour plusieurs voix, une succession de solos parfois amusants, parfois déchirants, mais toujours justes, sans fausse note», le roman se déroule… durant un concert de la SMCQ!
