With April marking the climax of the Homage
Series, the Québec art, political and educational milieu have gathered to salute
Gilles Tremblay:
- On April 13th an official tribute will be paid to Tremblay
in the National Assembly (Québec) with the participation of Christine
St-Pierre, Minister of Culture, Communications and the Status of Women;
- A press conference with performances of some of his works will take place in Quebec
City on April 13th to mark the event;
- During the week of April 12th, thousands of young people in 14 regions of Québec
will listen in class or play a work of Gilles Tremblay (Grand
jeu / Grande écoute project — see the school list);
- Five concerts will feature his music…
