The SMCQ kicks off its season with three works that reconcile the avant-garde with "popular" culture, referring to the highest sense of the word — its universality. For its first concert the audience is invited to enter a realm successively tinged with jazz (Milhaud), techno (Lizée) and film music (Longtin).
