Pianist Louise Bessette is an expert on Gilles Tremblay. She offers an entire recital dedicated to this composer, with no less than ten works written as homages by his pupils. Alongside four works for solo piano written by Tremblay, premieres by Arcuri, Daoust, Dompierre, Hyland, Lalonde, Panneton, Palmieri, Pepperall, Rozankovic, and Villeneuve will remind us how far the master’s influence reaches.

With its regular concert season, its Série hommage (Homage Series), an international festival, and a young listener’s programme, the society has served both as a platform for today’s composers and as a window on creative works for everyone.
