Grand and eclectic - this concert conducted by Walter Boudreau as part of the Montréal/Nouvelles Musiques festival will take us from the totalitarian world of Louis Andriessen’s De Staat (“The Republic”) - for women’s choir and large ensemble - to the playful world of Nicole Lizée’s This Will Not Be Televised - for seven musicians and DJ. With up to 40 musicians on stage, including the vocal ensemble Viva Voce and New York’s DJ P-Love, this promises to be a raucous evening!
