This poem set to music is based mainly on musical motives, inspired by my own interpretation of the text. The music includes several characters that express the images suggested to me by the poetic words and verses. The musical point of view was directed towards a type of expression that travels to the depths of the poem’s worldly emotions. The music is divided into three larger sections imbued with Balinese-inspired harmony and melody that nonetheless retain a Western spirit.
