On the occasion of the 10th edition of the Montréal/New Musics (MNM) festival, we retrace the history of this unifying initiative for the world of contemporary music. Founded in 2003 by Walter Boudreau and Denys Bouliane, the festival made it possible to hear composers and foreign ensembles in Quebec, and, through the international exchanges that resulted, to promote our composers on stages around the world.
