Alexis Langevin-Tétrault is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and performing artist. He has taken part to various electroacoustic and acousmatic music projects, including QUADr, Falaises, Alexeï Kawolski and Recepteurz. He studies electroacoustic composition at the Université de Montréal, with Robert Normandeau and Nicolas Bernier. His acousmatic pieces have been presented in many festivals across the world, and were awarded prizes by the Destellos Electroacoustic Composition Competition in 2014 and 2015, as well as by the SOCAN Foundation in 2015. His work was also nominated at the Québec Independent Artists Gala in 2013 and 2014 for “Best experimental album of the year” category, and in 2015 for “Best electronic album of the year.”
