Composer • Performer (piano)

Anthony Rozankovic: “I was born in Montréal on July 22, 1962. My parents are from ex-Yugoslavia, today Croatia. My father is a cobbler. My mother bought me a piano when I was 5, and offered me lessons with the nuns. I started singing with the Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal at the age of 9, and I learned trombone at Collège Notre-Dame. I spent 10 years at the Conservatoire de Musique du Québec in Montréal (where I studied trombone, composition, analysis, conducting, writing, etc.). At the same time, I played jazz and Dixieland, pop, R ‘n’ B, funk… I have always loved singing. I also do arrangements, often for voice. I write music for film and cartoons. My “band” is called Lili’s Tigers. I love to play jazz at the piano. For the rest, offer me a beer and I’ll tell you everything.”
