A miniature among miniatures: soloist Louise Bessette presents an intimist recital highlighted by delicacy and virtuosity, criss-crossing between four diverse piano cycles. Among theme, 21 paintings from John Rea’s Las Meninas, and variations on Schumann’s Kinderszenen (“Scenes from Childhood”). A transhistorical encounter, with a nod to Chopin, Satie, Debussy, Evangelista, Vivier… among others.
