Marina Rosenfeld is a composer and sound artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Since the early 1990s, when she created the first 17-woman sheer frost orchestra, her works have foregrounded participation, sociality, transdisciplinarity and a feminist approach to noise, vocality and acoustic architectures. Her works have been mounted in major institutions internationally, including the Museum of Modern Art and Park Avenue Armory (NY); the Whitney, Montréal, Liverpool and PERFORMA biennials; and Holland, Borealis, Wien Modern, Donaueschingen Musiktage and Ultima festivals, among many others. In 2021, her work will be the subject of a solo exhibition at Kunsthaus Baselland, Switzerland.

Decibel performed WHITE LINES (2003-) with Marina Rosenfeld at the Camera Obscura program at PICA in 2011, and Cannons during the Totally Huge New Music Festival that same year.
